As URJ Youth's signature year-round program, NFTY programs instill a sense of joy, compassion and pride in being Jewish while nurturing a young person's innate desire to make a difference in the world around them. Our goal is to take each experience from "one-off" transactional to ongoing transformational relationships in an environment where teens are inspired to develop the skills that they need to be successful today and in the future.
We see these connections blossom in many ways, unique to each teen in NFTY:
- Teens seeking deeper hands-on social justice opportunities can participate in Mitzvah Corps or the Religious Action Center's L'Taken seminars.
- Teens seeking immersive experiences in Israel can participate in a NFTY in Israel summer trip or URJ Heller High (Formerly NFTY-EIE) semester program - forging their own connection and passion to the State of Israel.
- Teens seeking to discover what kind of leader they are can attend URJ Kutz Camp.
- Pre-teens (6-8 grade) at URJ camps have new outlets to connect through NFTY678.
- The NFTY Alumni network is ensuring that these connections continue in college and beyond.
